Lauren Salazar

LAUREN SALAZAR is a singer/actress from Houston, TX. She was most recently seen by Houston audiences on the Queensbury stage as Lucy Van Pelt in the 2023 production of A Charlie Brown Christmas. She is thrilled to be returning December 11th-21st, 2025! Professional Credits include: Theatre Under The Stars: 50th Anniversary production of Oklahoma! (Gertie Cummings) Other Credits include: Into The Woods 

(The Baker's Wife), Chicago (Mary Sunshine), Evita (Eva Peron), The 25th Annual Putnam… (Olive Ostrovsky), and Les Misérables (Eponine).

 

As of 2025 she is the newly crowned six-time champion of the Greater Houston NATS Musical Theatre Competition. She has also placed second in the country on the national stage twice- both in 2017 at the National Student Auditions in Boulder, Colorado, and most recently in January 2022 at the National Music Theatre Competition in New York City. 

 

She can be found performing with Paul Hope Cabarets at Ovations Nightclub in Rice Village, or as a resident cast member of The Broad's Way- Houston's only Musical Theatre Revue Show- now in it's eighth year at Michael's Outpost!
